When Zavier Miller broke his femur in eighth grade, he got the opportunity to meet Dr. Hendrix with Capital Ortho for the first time. Later on, he popped his shoulder out during basketball tryouts, and then it popped out again during a game. He knew that he needed to have surgery, and he thought his season was going to be over and that he wouldn’t be able to play football during his senior year.

“With Dr. Hendrix knowing our history, and knowing that [Zavier’s] true passion was football… I believe he kind of sped up the process and that part really helped us out.” Dr. Hendrix made Zavier and his dad Derek very comfortable throughout the process, knowing that there was a real chance Zavier could be back for the football season!

With the help of Dr. Hendrix and the team at Capital Ortho, Zavier was able to play in the homecoming football game, and went on to play SEC Football at Ole Miss. “All that hard work, it paid off for us, and we owe a huge thanks to Dr. Hendrix”.
