Linda Sharplin

The reason Linda Sharplin went to Capital Ortho was because she could no longer walk, not even with a cane or a walker. “I had become a total recluse, because I was embarrassed to go anywhere”. 

Linda was apprehensive to go to Capital Ortho, because she didn’t know what to expect. She had multiple back surgeries in the past, and they did not help with her functionality at all. When she met Dr. Futvoye and his nurse, they walked her through the entire process, and told her that both hips were in bad condition and needed to be replaced. 

Linda thought that she would be in a solid cast from her waist to her knee at least, but she was amazed by the ease of the recovery and rehabilitation process after the surgery. “I could not believe that I waited so long to get this done because it was so easy! It totally gave me my life back.”

Linda was able to return to her life, never missing one of her granddaughter’s softball games again. She wakes up every morning and knows that it is going to be a good day, because no matter what she has planned, she is on top of it after her double hip replacement at Capital Ortho!
